MAKA HAYATILAH LUAHAN SEORANG WARGA MALAYSIA
Estimado camarades,
Since the elections in March, I have been blogging as a method of support for the National Front and Pak Lah. I am INDIAN (not Malay or Muslim as many of you thought me to be). Yes, while many of my own kind believe that they are being treated like what ever class citizens they want to call themselves; I bucked the trend by voting for BN (my first ever elections). I was naturally disappointed with the nature of the results; hence the blogging.
I've blogged about the numerous things that have gone on in Malaysia; the good, the bad, the downright ugly.. Many a times, I've subscribed to self-censorship; so not to hurt the feelings of my readers. I was of course biased to the Front and critical of the Pact. I've promised more than once to be neutral; to stop the political blogging. To that extend after my exams in June which again brought me great horror, I deleted my blog for the first time. This time around it will be the LAST TIME.
POLITICS
Why? Because this week, I've seen Malaysia go down back the same ugly road that I grew up watching. The same Malaysia that I pin my hopes upon. The same Malaysia that I wish to serve. The same Malaysia I wish to clean up. The same Malaysia which I want to get married; have kids and die in for crying out loud. One of my fellow bloggers rated me a five star blog (Thank you, SUKJ); others put me on their reading list (Tiger, Desperado (now change name already), Makcik and the rest of them). Others answered my call to save the Malaysian flag Jalur Gemilang (and now I see my name all over blogosphere).
Makcik, you remember the ship. I wished it became true. I wish we can start anew. Since March, I'm becoming fed-up with everyone Pak Lah; Najib, Samy Vellu and all the BN guys and also Lim and sons company; all the PAS Tok Gurus, keluarga Anwar Ibrahim and everyone else who calls themselves some politikus. Not because of the oil hike; inflation or all those things; but the stupid politicking that is going on. Who bloody cares about this country anymore?? There is a government elected that just putting out bush fires; when we have so much things to achieve and do. The same goes the Pact states that are digging up dirt for God knows what reason. Bila nak buat kerjalah? Bila nak benarkan orang lain buat kerja mereka?
Parliament is a mockery; no thanks to the people we put into them. Now, you can even quit and let your husband and wife compete. Family heirlooms this MP positions are these days. Soon, we will be like India, where the politican husband goes to jail; the wife becomes CM and MPs on their behalf. So, the government is actually run from the prisons. And not forgetting our live telecast; putting kids at a playground and monkeys in the zoo to shame..
Defection; lompat.. Hello, I didn't vote so that my MP will lompat.. In the first place, I don't know him or her.. I voted for the fucking party, you asswipes.. Now you want to jump? I'll cut your legs man..
And the worst part is even if you want to just get out of it; it's in the papers, blogs and internet. At funerals and birthday functions. At forums and debates (new culture now after the elections). All people are talking about is these. Thank God I have a friend who goes through an hour of dinner with me without talking about it. Kita seolah-olah taksub dengan politik; walaupun minda sudah kenyang dan muak mendengarnya..
Dan yang paling teruk blog politik yang banyak. Memang asalnya, saya harapkan lebih banyak blog pro-establishment. Tetapi sekarang persaingan sudah tak sihat; serang menyerang tidak terhad kepada kata-kata pedas, lucah dan serangan peribadi; tetapi menyerang dan mensabotaj antara blog dan laman satu sama lain. Sebelum kita boleh minta kerajaan hormati hak kita untuk bersuara; hormatilah hak bloggers lain untuk bersuara. Apa gunanya persatuan bloggers kalau bloggers sendiri tiada solidariti?!
LAW AND JUSTICE
Then, there's the justice system that everyone has something to say about. Everyday, thousands of cases, be it criminal, civil, divorce, land matters are filed in court. People go to court to get justice and in most situation they do. Just because you lose a case doesn't mean its injustice; that's how life is: sometimes you win sometimes you lose.. But do we care? NO, because when some political scandal goes to court; the entire judiciary gets banged up like it's some whore in Petaling Street. HELLO, where is the respect for the judiciary, people?
Worst, the main bangers are the lawyers; who due to their political connections and ideologies decide to deride and humiliate the very institution which feeds them.. I mean come onlah people, that's where you make the dough; you manipulate the system because the laymen is helpless and then you want to act all clean. How many of us understand the Federal Constitution to even talk about it? Just say Article 121A; and everybody gets riled up.. Politicians start the jangan jolok sarang tebuan.. Some hero cum political aspirant wants to go to the streets. When are we going to grow up and be able to discuss things rationally without getting angry?
Jika anda rasa Bar Council itu salah; tolonglah cari ilmuwan Islam atau pakar perundangan Islam untuk cabar kedudukan mereka. Kenapa dahulunya Professor Ahmad Ibrahim boleh lakukannya; kenapa kini sudah tiadakah mereka yang sanggup mempertahankan kepercayaan dan ilmu mereka? Masalah kita rakyat Malaysia ialah kita sentiasa mengenang yang dahulu (Mokhtar Dahari; P.Ramlee, Sudirman) sehinggakan kita tak ingin move on? Kenapa debat mengenai minyak; penyelewangan tanah; muzarakah dan muqabalah yang melibatkan politikus anda sanggup tengok; tetapi soal Perlembagaan anda tidak mahu cakap?
Tahukah anda bahawa Perlembagaan kita itu lebih daripada Artikel 121A dan hal-ehwal orang Melayu, Raja-Raja Melayu dan agama Islam? Banyak benda yang tertulis dalam Perlembagaan yang rakyat Malaysia tak tahu.. Ramai yang menyuruh Najib dan Pak Lah menjadi jantan dan turun dari kerusi mereka di Pekan dan Kepala Batas; dan bertanding di Permatang Pauh menentang Anwar. Tahukah anda bahawa Atrikel 48(6) tidak membenarkannya? Tak tahu bukan; tapi main belasah di blog sahaja.
And to the Bar members and their leaders; when are you guys going to grow up? Why to do you people who are suppose to be independent swaying from one political side to another? I mean one day, Pak Lah is good, 1988 crisis revisited; Judicial Appointments commission GOOD..GOOD.. Next day, let's have open forums about the constitution. If you want to have dialogues with the PM; go ahead sit down and parlay with him. Tell him your concerns. Get things done without publicity. Do you really need to come out in paers, Malaysiakini etc? If you like the publicity, the Majlis Peguam should become Parti Peguam. NO, right.. Half the time, people get the wrong idea when they read your legal lingo cause THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND.. Apa 'natang itu kontrak sosial, they ask?!
Should buggery be an offence you ask me? You know you can do it with your wife; your homosexual partner or whatever; as long as you do it within the four walls of your bedroom and no one complains about it; no one is going to charge you with anything and neither am I GOD to judge you. But to take it of the books of law; there are both legal and social implications. You want to be transsexuals, gays and lesbians go ahead.. IT'S YOUR CHOICE.. But unfortunately, the state has to dictate morality for the greater good of the people..
RELIGION
As a Hindu, I believe my religion is FLAWED IN ONLY ONE WAY. That is when someone can join and leave our religion with ease. Call it freedom to profess religion; I call it stupidity. To my fellow Indians who want to convert to Islam or Christianity or you decide to be an atheist; OPEN YOUR FUCKING MOUTHS AND TELL YOUR FATHER, MOTHER, SISTER, BROTHER, WIFE AND CHILDREN that you are converting. If you are converting with a clear conscience and because your love for the newfound religion; then WHY HIDE? Because my wife and mother will commit suicide? If they commit suicide; believe me they will end up in HELL, regardless of what God they pray to or how pious they are.. Why put the authorities in deep shit because of your folly? Why drag our courts into this?
And not forgetting to those who convert just because you want to marry someone or because want the economical benefits; shame on you for using God as a bargaining tool. You'll rot in Hell; if you claim to be of one religion; but do everything against its beliefs.. "because I really didn't want to convert; just had to you see.."
PATRIOTISM AND RACE
To be honest, I'm more patriotic than most Malays I have met in blogosphere. I'll die for my country if I had to; I would mind if one day this lembik at to take up arms to defend this country. Of the tens or hundred of people that answered my call to fly the flag; that same people today are asking for Indians and Chinese to be kicked out of UKM because; it belongs to the Malay. Look how politics and ONE DAMN ELECTION has split us apart. A year ago; this very same time we were talking about our common dreams 50 years after achieving independence. And look at us now..
We are so blessed to live in a country where there is enough food; enough rain; enough roofs over our head.. A country floating on subsidies that we take it foregranted. A country which allows you to make all the money you want as long as you pay your taxes and do it legally. Yet you make fun and mock the same country where you eat, sleep and shit it. Shame on you guys out there man; especially those distressing now.. To the Chinese fellas, who insist on hiring dialect speakers and Chinese only; screw you.. Non-Malays must be united it seems; after elections tukar cerita.
And the gomen all bumi only.. How many of Chinese and Indians apply? How many of them take up the job? Cannot get promoted what? Who said so? If you were good at it; you'll get to places.. But the government so lembaplah.. Obviously, how many of your would sacrifice the big salary in the private and use your smart brains to serve the rakyat? ZERO, unless politics call.. There you will serve the rakyat; because got power.. Shame on us, me you and everybody for never going beyond race..
EDUCATION
I hear people complain about the education system; if it was so rotten; how in the blue hell are half of you successful today? Magic, ah!! It's so exam oriented. Come' onlah, don't kid yourself. There's no exams in nurseries and kindergartens; yet some of you sent your children for tuition. It is you PARENTS who are destroying your kids, not the schools. And one last thing that I want to ask: Is why after 51 years do we still have separate school systems? At this point, MCA and MIC will spit at me and DAP will start their Malay-nisation of schools cry.
We incalculate racial sentiments in schools for crying out loud. A child that spends 6 years of their growing years surrounded by the own race is suppose to automatically become multi-racial when they go to secondary schools; colleges and university. Why can't DAP that is so Malaysia Malaysian policy suggest a NEW SINGLE schooling system?? Because you would lose the Cina and Keling vote, right? Shame on you for having double standards people..
But Che, the Malay schools they say doa selamat and have racist teachers? Look at me, how less Indian or Hindu am I after 12 years of Malay school? And where got Malay school anymore; it is sekolah kebangsaan nowlah.. I spend 2 years in a school smack in the centre of Kampung Kerinchi; where except for my class, every other class was just Malay only. Even the cikgus were all Malays; except for a handful. We stopped class when the azan from the nearby masjid was heard. You know it made me a better man; it thought me to respect Malays. It thought to me to learn the other side of Malaysia. Those kids were told by the cikgus to call us abangs and kakaks (any they did it; even today when I meet some of them working in Midvalley, they ask me abang dulu belajar di Kerinchi bukan?). Even my nieces call me by name for crying out loud.
I taught a group of Form One Malays kids choral speaking in English. A month before my STPM; there I was teaching them the correct pronunciation; grammar and technique. The cikgu told them they better listen to me or else.. And in three weeks there they were performing at the school function; and I remember their parents being astonished with a smile of satisfaction that their children could do something in English so flawlessly. And we are talking whether Science and Mathematics should be taught in English? I tell you teach them ENGLISH FIRST!! When I was in school, for BM we learned tatabahasa, nahu etc.. But the first time, someone taught be grammar was in Form3; using a UK Level 1 book. If you can teach English the right way; whether in kampungs, estates or even in bright ol' KL, kids will be proficient. Even if their parents tak faham orang putih..
CONCLUSION
I am disappointed that the first time I went to vote; everybody decided to mature politically into children.. Malaysia, wake uplah.. There is no political maturity; childishness adalah.. Selfishness; gutter politics adalah.. Go ask the Yanks, the Brits and the Jews to come and help you; they never helplah.. Unless you have barrels of oil that is..
To PKR, I ask: Is there anything more important to you than Anwar and his destiny? After him; are you going to close shop? If you are; let the people know early on? And to Uncle Anwar, you'll never come close to being A SIVAJI THE BOSS.. NADA!!! Thank you for inciting the Indians; thank you for breaking an already minority race into splinters..
To HINDRAF, I say: Go and get the Indians to first change their gossiping and pulling others down mentality; and help one another. Why are we killing each other as the Tamil papers show every day? Why can't we pool our efforts and helps our people? Why keep saying that they don't help us, when we ourselves aren't any better...
To PAS, I say: Kalau nak Negara Islam dan Hudud; teruskan perjuangan. Tapi janganlah waktu election tukar lagu dan minta undi Cina dan India. Berdiri teguh dengan perjuangan anda. Moga-moga, yang Islam akan sokong anda. Sekurang-kurangnya, anda dihormati atas kekuatan pegangan anda kepada prinsip syariat Islam..
To DAP, I say: You will never be a racist Chinese-party with some Singhs and Indians and their children there. Because if you were Malaysian; I'm sure there will be some Malays there (but I see none..) Stop inciting trouble; stop changing your lagu; one for UMNO; one for PAS. Damn, hypocrite you know..
To UMNO, I say: Perjuangan Orang Melayu penting tapi jangan lupa kami yang telah menyokong anda 51 tahun ini... Kepada pembesar; tak payahlah asyik nak cakap pasal peralihan kuasa; kalau dah parti politik mesti ada yang menang dan ada yang kalah. Kalau tak berani berlawan; jangan masuk politik.
To MCA, I say: At least you have gentleman leaders.. But please ask your race to give jobs to others too.
To MIC, I say: Samy Vellu, fuck of.. Stop talking about Tamil schools and temples.. The Indian community has some much of other issues to be sorted; yet all I hear is temples, Tamil schools. It shows that that's all you have upstairs; time to let someone else to take over.. And bring along the thug culture when you leave..
To Gerakan, I say: Either become multi-racial for real; or call yourself a Chinese Party..
To PPP, I say: What sort of a party; does not have a Timbalan Presiden, man?
To the Sabah BN, I say: You can't even sort out your own problems; you want to threaten people?
To the Sarawak BN, I say: Thank God, you guys keep your mouths shut and just go on living.. And SAVE SOME FORESTS. The Penans can't live in condominiums, okay..
I am going to sit back, watch the Olympics. When I get my results end of this month; I'm going to sit down and decide what I want to do with my life. Saya tidak akan delete 2 blog ini dan profile kerana mungkin disalah gunakan pihak lain. Tetapi saya tidak akan lagi buat posting. Saya mohon maaf jika ada yang tersinggung hari ini; tetapi inilah suara ikhlas dari hati Che Eduardo.
Sudah tiba rakyat Malaysia untuk memikirkan kembali apa yang sebenarnya mereka hendakkan; sudah tiba masanya untuk kita benar-benar menjadi matang (bukan cakap media alternatif dan blogger); sudah tiba masanya kita hormat kepada institusi dan lambang negara ini (askar, polis, bendera, kehakiman, parlimen, eksekutif, Raja-Raja Melayu). Dan yang paling penting, hilangkan semangat perkauman dari hati. Dan hargai kemerdekaan ini. Terima kasih buat sokongan rakan-rakan semua dan sekian sahaja daripada Che Eduardo..
